Deploying IPv6 requires analysis of your current IPv4 network, scoping IPv6 deployment, identifying upgrades or modifications to network equipment, applications or end user devices, and managing the project to completion. This chapter talks about the basic authorization process, which requires a basic definition of the goals, scope, plan, costs, and benefits of IPv6 deployment.
