The goal of this tutorial is to help you understand where a student?s motivation comes from and how to consider what motivates students as you design and execute courses and curricula. First, we will identify the three factors of motivation┬ůstudent competence, confidence and relatedness. Next we will learn how to apply methods for ensuring these three factors of motivation.
