Finite element method for radiated emissions in EMC analysis

This paper presents a numerical 2D resolution of the problems of radiation generated by current sources. The approach is based on the finite element method associated with absorbing boundary conditions. The presented model makes it possible to consider wave propagation and their effects in heterogeneous media over a broad frequency band. It can be applied in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) for the simulation of radiation. First, the formulations of the electromagnetic problem are detailed. Then the comparison of the numerical results with experimental measurements on simple examples allows validation of the approach.
