Presents discussion pertaining to a read only memory (ROM) table look-up technique for implementing digital filters. This technique is very flexible in that a given digital filter can be implemented by merely changing the contents of the ROM. Sufficient detail is included so that the material can be used effectively for pedagogical purposes, as well as to ease the transition from design concepts to actual hardware implementation.
