Complete instability of a box of polynomials

The authors study the converse of V.L. Kharitonov's polynomial problem (1978) by asking whether the complete instability of a box of polynomials can be determined from extreme sets. They show that it is not enough to check the (n-4)-dimensional boundary, but prove that the complete instability of the (n-1)-dimensional boundary is sufficient.<
