The Effect of Call Routing Rules in Non-Blocking Three-Stage Switching Networks

Sequential hunting and call packing rules are discussed as they are used to route calls in a non-blocking symmetric 3-stage netWork. It is shown that the Clos bound is met with both procedures, for most network parameter values.
