Comparative Analysis on PAPR Reduction scheme by using Novel Enhanced Active Constellation Scheme with selective level mapping for OFDM based systems

To achieve a low Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR) using a Novel Enhanced Active Constellation Scheme in com-parison with the selective level mapping method for the Or-thogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. For comparative analysis, two groups namely Novel Enhanced Active Constellation Scheme and traditional Selective Level Mapping are considered. The total sample size is 20. The pretest power for the samples is 80%. Software called Matlab is used to run the simulation.and the data is compared with the traditional Selective Level Mapping Method. The PAPR value is reduced using the Novel Enhanced Active Constellation Scheme to 7.8 dB when compared to the traditional selective level mapping of about 11.3 dB. The significance value is 0.01 (p 0.05). The Novel Enhanced Active Constellation Scheme is significantly better than the traditional Selective level mapping in reducing the high Peak Average Power Ratio.
