Analysis of Influence of Number of Sensors on Accuracy of Radio Source Position Determination Based on TDOA-, RSS- and AOA- Measurements

The graphs of isolines family are built that characterize the accuracy of determining of the radio source location based on TDOA-, RSS- and AOA-measurements of the sensor network. Two configurations of a sensor network with a different number of sensors located evenly on a circle are considered. The first configuration of the sensor network contains the minimum number of sensors, which ensures the operability of the methods. The second configuration of the sensor network provides the same accuracy in determining the radio source location at a given range in any direction. The analysis of the accuracy of determining of the radio source location is carried out with the combined use of TDOA- RSS-and AOA-measurements of the sensor network.
