Phase Shifting Techniques Implementation in DAB Converter for EV Applications

The effective power conversion technologies are required for best performance of electric vehicles. The implementation of different phase-shifting techniques in a DAB converter, which are feasible solution for EVs due to its highly efficient and its bidirectional power flow capabilities. In this context the operating principle of Dual Active Bridge Converter, equations, and performance using simulations are interpreted. The findings show significant inferences in efficiency and other different parameters, highlighting the potential of phase-shifting approaches in enhancing EV systems.
