Abstract:

This paper introduces a traffic tunnel inspection system based on computer vision and audition technologies. Initially, tunnel defects and disasters are classified, encompassing structural lining defects, nonstructural lining defects, and various tunnel disasters. Subsequently, the paper discusses key technologies in intelligent traffic tunnel inspection, particularly focusing on computer vision and audition detection techniques. Computer vision employs high-definition cameras, 3D laser imaging, and infrared imaging for tunnel defect detection, while computer audition utilizes impact echo sound frequency and ultrasonic methods. Furthermore, the paper proposes an overall system framework, including system architecture, workflows, and network deployment strategies. The system integrates multi-sensor fusion detection technologies into intelligent robots to address the problem of timely acquisition of tunnel disaster information. In the concluding section, it provides the insights into the future prospects and challenges of tunnel inspection.
