Analyzing Moroccan E-Government status: An Initial Review

ICT technologies stand out as one of the most transformative elements in our time. In this context, Governments worldwide including Morocco started remodeling their delivery of public services to integrate digital elements. E-government programs promised enhanced transparency, improved services for the public and increased production. Unfortunately, not all have achieved the same level of success. This report provides a look on major challenges encountered by developing countries in their digital transformation and analyzes Morocco’s Initiatives and their impact on its E-government development and its position worldwide. Results show a moderate advancement in Morocco’s ranking with room to improve especially in the implementation of online services.
