IoT based Electric Vehicle Battery Parameters Monitoring for Battery Swapping

Electric vehicle (EV) is the most widely impacting technology in the immediate future in road transportation. The EVs at the charging station have to wait for a significant amount of time for their recharge. For the solution of this, EV battery parameters are monitored and Batteries swapped in the upcoming charging station. In this regards the battery parameters are monitored; the EV battery is connected to the server for monitoring the health of the battery and the corresponding parameters are stored in the server. The server notifies to the driver about the upcoming charging station, mileage limits and the battery condition. The proposed work discusses the battery parameters required for swapping like state of charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), and temperature estimated. This research work is implemented in real time EV using an Internet of Things (IoT). The real-time EV parameters are monitored through IoT stored in the cloud.
