Abstract:

A method detecting position and speed based on AD2S1210 for permanent magnet motors is designed in this paper. The reluctance rotary transformer J37XU9732 is selected as the position and speed sensor, which need excitation signal provide by the decoding chip AD2S1210. And the feedback signal from rotary transformer should be decoded by the decoding chip. To achieve the above functions, the peripheral circuit of the decoding chip is designed. The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) module of DSP28379 is used to visit AD2S1210 to obtain the binary code of the position and speed of the motor. The experimental results show that the design has good performance and can realize real-time monitoring of the position and speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor.
