Brain Computer Interface (BCI)-Inspired Arduino Based Wheel Chair Controller

The following article is based on the concept of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and how we can use an Arduino microcontroller connected with the help of Bluetooth to enable people with disabilities to direct their wheelchairs to move to wherever they want by controlling the movements of the wheelchair by blinking their eyes. Persons that have the locomotor disability can't move from one place to another without support. These persons face severe problems in doing their own works if no one is available for their support. In order to tackle the problems faced by the disabled persons we have presented the concept of BCI, which will allow the wheelchair to move by capturing the blinking movements of the eyes of its user and allow them to choose the desired direction of travel of their wheelchair, Once the software has been loaded and activated. With the help of BCI people who use wheelchairs now will gain the ability to independently go to their desired destinations by just blinking their eyes with the help of this device. They will be able to move and go to the directions they want without any support. Major difficulties faced by the disabled persons will come to an end. BCI will allow the disabled persons to move as per their wishes.
