An Electric Vehicle Scheduling Strategy for the Power Grid Peak Regulation Based on V2G

V2G technology of electric vehicles provides a new idea for the power grid peak regulation with the rapid growth of electric vehicle ownership. The aggregator composed of charging stations can make full use of idle energy storage space of electric vehicles, discharge during the peak periods, and charge during the low periods, which can realize the peak regulation with the distributed energy storage of EVs. In this paper, starting from the power grid side, the start time of the scheduling strategy of electric vehicles is taken as the variable, and the flattening load curve is taken as the objective to establish a V2G scheduling model of the participation of electric vehicles in the power grid peak regulation. The improved particle swarm optimizttion algorithm is used to solve the model. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by a case from a certain residential area.
