A somatic game-based rehabilitation training system for mild cognitive impairment

In response to the problems that current products for mild cognitive impairment lack sensory stimulation for patients and are not designed for the characteristics of the elderly group with mild cognitive impairment, and cannot effectively improve cognitive functions, this paper integrates cognitive science, rehabilitation medicine, and game design to carry out research and design a set of gamepad-based somatosensory interaction device, including the construction of hardware system and the development of software system. The system can train patients' memory, calculation, logical reasoning, and spatial orientation, thus improving their cognitive status and slowing down the progression of dementia. The research content of this paper provides a new non-pharmacological intervention method for patients with mild cognitive impairment.
