On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin launched a special military operation against Ukraine. Ukraine enters a full-scale war with Russia as the Ukrainian-Russian conflict officially commences. Kyiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk states were the main battlegrounds at the beginning of the conflict, as Russia quickly captured several cities. Ukraine and Russia are the two countries directly involved in the most disastrous war in Europe since the end of World War II and after the beginning of the Crimean crisis in 2014. The war has profoundly influenced the direction of Ukraine and Russia and the world’s socioeconomic development [1].
