Resource Allocation Using Gray Wolf Optimization Algorithm for Device to Device Communication

Device-to-Device (D2D) communication is defined as direct communication from one device to another device without using base station (BS) services. D2D technology is developed under Long term evolution (LTE) release. When the devices in D2D technology are in close proximity, then it is in a direct communication. The D2D communication improves network performance and spectral quality, reduces power consumption and time delay. In other words, the D2D communication works in two cases, the first is to increase the quality of the spectrum and the efficiency of network performance, and to reduce the traffic offload on the BS, and the transmission time delay as well. In this paper, we work on allocating resources to a system based on the gray wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm in D2D communication technology by means of a total numerical description of the achieving of this system. The performance were analyzed by MATLAB by running 100 times and then the average was taken for the plot of the simulation process which verified our scheme. The systems are deployed in random within the coverage area of the BS.
