Sustainability and environmental conservation in strategy of National Bank of Hungary in 2020s

The study focuses on analysing conditions of house improvement conditions in green environmental conservation investments financed by Growth Credit Program Green Home Program of National Bank of Hungary - MNB -from 2019 and 2022. Among the Green Programs of the MNB, the study intends to highlight programs that reduce housing and home renovation environmental loads for the population. The National Bank of Hungary has been authorized by the Hungarian Parliament, which resulted in the statutory objectives of promoting environmental sustainability. The MNB extended the deadline for the Green Capital-requirement Advantage Program for energy efficient housing loans of our Hungarian credit institutions to access the population to home renovation loans by December 31, 2024. The study used the comparing methods for the conditions of the house improvement conditions in some periods of green environmental conservation investments. The fixed home conditions of families can locally ensure more secure reaching workplaces leading to increasing employment level either in urban or rural areas accompanying with fixed survival, better livelihood conditions and purchase power capacity of more parts of population. The financial system and price stability should be made more efficient and cheaper, which is also the path to digitalization and the spread of green finances, thus increasing the high savings rate, but we need to dynamize the financial assets that are thus created. Hungary's goal is to reach the European Union's average development by 2030.
