Striking at the Internet's heart

E-mail worked flawlessly on 11 September 2001, and the Internet was only peripherally affected by the events of that tragic day. In this paper, the author examines how well the Internet could have withstood some kind of frontal attack? The Internet's robustness and its' vulnerabilities are both outlined.
