Statistical features of REMA data of antimycobacterial drug screening and determining the minimal inhibitory concentration

The Resazurin Microtiter Assay Plate Testing (REMA) is one of the basic modern methods for the fast screening of antimycobacterial drug action. At the same time, the conventional approaches to spectrophotometric data processing insufficient due to the specificity of the statistical properties of the recorded fluorescence signals. We present a MATLAB script for automatized processing spreadsheets with the recorded fluorescence measurements in the microplate's cells with a special focus on the effects of non-normally-distributed small samples.
