The Application of the Estimation Method for the Placement of Workers in DKI Jakarta Uses Multiple Linear Regression

Employment is a population aged between 15 to 64 years. At this age, people take turns looking for work to promote their own life or their family's. Workers with high productivity and good skills will receive training services that are in accordance with their skills, interests and skills. Improper employment of labor will have an impact on the low performance of the workforce, causing a lot of losses for the company, to find new workers, in accordance with the company's capabilities. This study aims to estimate the number of employee placements in DKI Jakarta Province through the use of data mining. The data mining method is a multiple linear regression method that uses data sources from the DKI Jakarta Central Statistics Agency. The attributes used are Registration (X1), Vacancies (X2), and Placement (Y). The results showed that the method can be applied with the estimated linear regression formula $\mathrm{Y}\ =\ 865.4697362+ 0.095353894\mathrm{X}1+0.173502027\mathrm{X}2$, and the estimation results of the number of labor placements in DKI Jakarta Province in the following period amounted to 3,812,837 people. At least the results of this study can be a reference for the government in terms of forecasting the number of workers using data mining techniques.
