The Development of a Biocalorimeter's Calibration System

The article is devoted to the problem of creating a calibration system for a biocalorimeter based on the direct calorimetry method. A software-configurable standard power source was developed with a power dissipation of 0 to 650 W, which is comparable to the human range. The software code has been written and adjusted, which makes it possible to control the power source in automatic and manual modes, as well as to monitor and process the data necessarily during the experiment. The author proposed and proved a hypothesis about the directly proportional dependence of the released power on the temperature difference at the input and output of the camera. As a result, the created calibration system will be taking into account heat losses associated with the design features of the direct calorimetry camera, as well as simulating the initial conditions inside the camera and conducting research on the influence of various parameters on the released power's readings.
