Advanced technology developments in quantitative thermography for space science (human perception and clinical diagnostics)

The needs of the space program for quantitative thermography is reviewed and the implications of NASA's advanced development work in thermography and its relationship to human perception and clinical diagnostics are discussed, with emphasis on image information processing capabilities of representative observer vision systems.
