Research on Key Technologies of Health State Assessment for Complex equipment

Health assessment is of great significance to realize the active maintenance of complex equipment and effectively avoid accidents. But how to extract fault information from data with correlation and redundancy is the key of health status assessment. In order to accurately assess the status of oil drilling pump, this paper proposed a health status assessment method based on Softmax and Mahalanobis Distance(MD). Firstly, the time-frequency characteristics of the vibration signal of oil drilling pump were extracted; Then, the improved LTSA was used to reduce the dimension of the extracted features; Finally, the Softmax classifier was trained to recognize the state of the low dimensional feature sequence, and the Mahalanobis distance between the output sequence and the ideal health state sequence was calculated to further construct the health index to evaluate the health state of the oil drilling pump. The results show that this method can effectively and accurately evaluate the health status of complex systems.
