Classification of Ziziphus Mauritiana Leaves According to the Texture and Shape of the GLCM Feature Using the Neural Network Backpropagation Method

There is much biodiversity on this earth, some of it utilized for foodstuff and medicine. In Indonesia, some plants are utilized either in traditional or modern medicine, such as the Ziziphus mauritiana. All this time, to find out the types of Ziziphus mauritiana by using simple methods or only seeing them directly, many people cannot distinguish the type of this plant. Additionally, many methods have been proposed to identify plant types using digital pictures, but the accuracy results are still below 85% because the research carried out only utilizes texture features or shape features. In this research, the method utilized is a backpropagation neural network based on texture and shape on the GLCM features of these plants accurately.
