Comparison of Wired and Wireless Channel for Short Range Frequency Hopping Terahertz System

We present the design of a wired terahertz communication link in a short range (1.5 m) frequency hopping system for secure communication applications. The performance of the system is analyzed based on the frequency dependent terahertz power, responsivity of the detector, dispersion and propagation loss.
