Discussion on the Construction of Big Data Student Management Platform in the Information Age

The new information age has come; network, big data, information technology and mobile Internet have become its basic features. With the rapid development of information technology, the rise of big data has seriously affected many fields including education. The revolution of information technology has brought about the change of science and technology, and also put forward new requirements for the management of college students. In order to meet the needs of the times and realize the function transformation and service deepening in the future, the school must meet the needs and technology of the times, overcome the shortcomings of traditional management, change and adjust its own management mode, strengthen technological innovation and thinking transformation, clarify its function and orientation, and promote its sustainable development. Therefore, this study studies the construction of big data student management platform in the information age by means of literature survey and questionnaire survey. Based on obtaining a large amount of data, it conducts in-depth analysis, finds out the deficiencies of student management platform in the new environment, and puts forward suggestions.
