Multiple-Output Generator for Omnidirectional Electroporation and Real-Time Process Monitoring

Irreversible electroporation is a promising cancer treatment technique that takes advantage of intense electric field application to produce tissue ablation. This paper proposes a new power electronic generator to use a multi-electrode that enabling applying the required electric field in multiple direction, to avoid issues related to tissue heterogeneity, as well as a real-time process monitorization. The proposed converter has been tested using an experimental prototype, proving the feasibility of this proposal.
