Institute announcements

At a meeting of the Council, held on Tuesday, 24th April, 1928, the V.F.P. Awards and Students' Awards Sub-Committee's report was brought up for discussion, and the following allocations were agreed upon: — 1. The Institute's Bronze Medal with the addition of a V.F.P. Award of £5 5s. is available for the student presenting to the Institute a paper of sufficient merit. 2. An Award of £4 4s. is available for the student presenting to the Institute a contribution of sufficient merit. 3. The sum of £5 5s. is also available for students as a prize or prizes for contributions of sufficient merit. 4. Any Technical Associate giving a contribution of sufficient merit may become an Associate Member with free membership fees and entrance fees.
