Dinner to the secretary

On Friday evening, the 27th May, the President, Past Presidents, and Members of Council who have held office during Mr. W. J. Clarkson's tenure of the post of Secretary, gave him a dinner on the occasion of his relinquishing the Secretaryship of the Institute. The dinner, which was served at the New Club in their best style, was presided over by Mr. L. B. Woodworth, and was voted by all a brilliant success, though all deplored the cause which gave rise to the occasion.
