Performance analysis of escalator drive chain plate used for 5 years

In this paper, the performance analysis of the drive chain plate of escalator 16A-2, which has been used for 5 years, is carried out. The results of chemical analysis show that the materials of outer chain plate and intermediate chain plate are equal to 45Mn. According to the tensile test results, the tensile strength of the chain meets the requirements of relevant standards. The results of metallographic analysis show that poor and decarburization can be seen on the surface of outer chain plate and intermediate chain plate.
