Performance of Hybrid LPPM-POLSK-SIM in FSO Over Double GG Fading Distribution

Free Space Optical (FSO) communication transmits the information through light propagation in the free space permitting optical connectivity. So, there is no necessity of optical fibre cables. FSO provides the solution for requirement of large bandwidth and high speed for data transmission. Here, we use hybrid LPPM-POLSK-SIM modulation scheme over Double Generalized Gamma distribution in FSO. Then, we examine its performance in terms of bit error rate for plane and spherical wave under strong and moderate turbulence conditions. Simulation results shows that BER performance is better with the lower value of order L in spherical and plane wave. Also, BER performance is good under moderate turbulence condition as compared to strong turbulence condition for all values of L.
