A Domestical Safety Computer Platform for Railway Signal System

Safety computer platform plays important role in railway signal system in China. A domestic safety computer platform is designed and fulfilled under fail-safety principles and its design characteristics are analyzed from three asecpects of hardware, software and working modes. TYJL-III computer interlocking system, as one of successful application based on the safety computer, is introduced and described. Finally, the effectiveness of the safety computer platform is verified following V-mode, which show it should satisfy compatibility, safety and integrity requirements of various signal control system in China. The research concludes that this kind of safety computer platform with reasonable structure, comprehensive function, unified interface and strong compatibility will play an increasingly important role in the process of comprehensive upgrade of railway signal equipment.
