Low-Cost Free-Space-Optical Communication System with Federated Learning-based Channel Prediction

A channel prediction scheme based on federated learning is proposed to achieve channel pre-compensation for a low-cost design of FSO communication system. The proposed scheme is demonstrated effective in simplifying system structural and operational cost. © 2020 The Author(s).
