Performance Analysis of Low Power Low Voltage Amplifier Designs in 45nm CMOS Technology by Incorporating Miller Compensation

An operational amplifier designed for low power, low voltage applications based on 45nm CMOS technology with miller compensation is presented in this paper. Amplifier design works based on bulk driven concept is suitable for ultra low power low voltage applications. Sub-threshold design is needed where the device needs to be operated under threshold voltage, i.e in low power applications. This work is a comparison of different low power technologies based on bulk driven, sub-threshold designs, etc by incorporating miller compensation. The amplifier design and Simulations are carried out in the 45nm CMOS process and the results are compared. On comparing it is found that bulk driven sub-threshold design consumes lesser power of 262.4077 pW with an input supply current of 524.8154 pA.
