Economic Analysis of Combined Cooling, heating and power system coupled with heat pump based on EnergyPLAN

In recent years, the technology of combined cooling, heating and Power System (CCHP) has been promoted and used. However, economic challenges such as high operating cost, still exit. In order to further improve the economy of the combined cooling, heating and Power integrated energy system, this paper proposed a regional integrated energy system consisting of the CCHP system. wind farm and heat pump in northeast China, which aims to maximize the synergies between the three technologies. The effect of different heat pnmp capacity on the system economy is analyzed by nsing simulation software EnergyPLAN, while taking into account wind power curtailment within the system. Based on the premise of satisfying the load demand of end users, and with the lowest operation cost as the optimization objective function, the simulation results showed that the economic efficiency of the "electric-thermal hybrid" operation mode was quite competitive in comparison with other passive operation modes. In a certain capacity range, the heat pump could also effectively reduce energy system cost and the amount of abandoned wind power.
