Research on Fault Modeling and Fault Diagnosis of Maglev Suspension System

Fault diagnosis is a hot issue in the reliability research of maglev, especially for high-speed maglev. On the other hand, fault diagnosis is also of great significance to the follow-up fault-tolerant control. In this paper, the suspension system of high-speed maglev train is taken as the research object. Based on the analysis of the structure, composition, and working principle of the suspension system, a mathematical model is constructed. Considering the possible disturbance and failure of the system, a fault model based on the overlapping structure suspension system is proposed, and a full state observer is designed to diagnose the fault. The results show that the fault model has generality in the fault diagnosis, which can realize the fault diagnosis more quickly and efficiently. The full state observer can realize the fault detection effectively, but there is no way to further analyze the fault.
