Theorizing the Concept of Energy Security in the Kingdom of Bahrain as an Oil-Exporting Country

This study introduces the concept of energy security while revealing the current economic challenges confronting the Kingdom of Bahrain, as its economy is highly depending on natural resources such as oil. Therefore, the study highlights the importance of economic resource diversification and the use of renewable energy in reducing the consequences of dependency on oil and gas. Moreover, the authors attempt to use in-depth literature to acquire a full image of the concept of energy security for oil exporting countries.
