Survey on the importance of using personal data for learning analytics and of data privacy

The adaptation and recommendation of learning content and workflows represent one of the main challenges in technology enhanced learning. The main goal of the paper is to measure the importance of using personal data for learning analytics and of data privacy, particularly for the purposes of adapting and recommending learning content and activities. In order to achieve the goal a survey is designed and implemented. The results of the survey are based on 137 responses collected from undergraduate students in bachelor degree program "Computer and Software Engineering".
