Radio interference voltage characteristics of insulators under high relative air humidity

This paper introduced the radio interference problem of insulators under high air humidity, and the radio interference voltage test environment has been set up in artificial climate chamber, in which the relative air humidity can be adjusted. Then the 110kV insulators are selected as test object to study the radio interference voltage characteristics under different relative air humidity and frequencies. The test results show that the radio interference inception voltage increases as the relative air humidity increases, and the insulators' surface conditions also affect the inception voltage.
