Design of a User-Friendly Market System By Introducing Motorised Shelves & Automated Billing System

In this industrial world automation has hit every sector of human life. Here we are presenting the design of a user friendly, space, power and cost effective automated IOT based market system. In this system, reduction in the number of employees working is achieved by introducing vertical motorized shelves. The products are placed in long vertical shelves, that can slide up and down as per the needs of the consumers. This in turn reduces the massive floor space required in today’s normal supermarkets by manifolds. Reducing the space required will simultaneously bring down the annual budget of the supermarket in a colossal manner thereby helping emerging entrepreneurs to setup their own supermarket. These shelves might contain items from a variety of fields like grocery, eatables and wearables. Each of the products present in the shelves have a unique code that is required to be fed as input. As soon as the input is received, the vertical shelves automatically bring down the shelf of products that the customer is looking for. Automated billing system has also been incorporated in this system. Lastly, the system also automatically updates the number of similar products left at that particular shelf as well as in the stock.
