Document analysis at AGH University of Science and Technology

The use of modern archeometric techniques requires the use of appropriate equipment. The development of several tools used in the study of historical artifacts and art objects, manuscripts in particular, is the goal of the work presented below. The publication presents new developments for three research methods: nondestructive microfading testing of the objects' lightfastness, reflectance transformation imaging to visualize texture of the object and multispectral imaging applied to enhance damaged writing.
