Cell-based Coherent Design Methodology for Linear and Non-linear Analog Circuits

This paper presents cell based design methodology, offering design coherence of linear and nonlinear analog circuit. In the kernel level of the proposed methodology, operational transconductance amplifier based universal configurable block is proposed. Linear and nonlinear coherence is justified through the conversion of the configurable block based multifunction linear filter into an oscillator. Reusability and programmability have been demonstrated by a reconfigurable design example, FPAA. Spice simulation results justify the effectiveness of the proposed methodology of establishing design coherence among linear and non-linear circuit along with inherent programmability.
