Applying House of Risk Analysis for Supply Chain Risk Mitigation (Case Study)

Risks can arise in multiple forms in a supply chain (SC). Hence risk management is required for controlling risks. In the women's clothing industry, there is an opportunity for the risk to arise. Therefore it is required to do a risk investigation and plan of mitigation actions. The objective of this study is to recognize the risks that occur in SC and to minimize the occurrence of these risks in strategic planning. This research is conducted using the house of risk (HOR) model, which subsist two steps, i.e., identification of risks and a handle of risks. From the results of the study, it is found that seven risk events and ten risk agents occurred in one fashion store Mayoutfit at Depok city, West Java province Indonesia. There are two risk agents were selected, i.e., sudden demand and human error. Mitigation strategies that can be carried out i.e., conducting training to workers and making agreements with suppliers regarding immediate orders.
