A 78.20dB SNDR CT Sigma-Delta Modulator Achieving 40.6fJ/conv

A 3rd-order 3-bit continuous-time Sigma-Delta modulator clocked at 512MHz is presented. The modulator, with characters such as wideband and low-power, suitable for direct-conversion receivers, is implemented in 65nm CMOS process. It achieves a 78.20dB SNDR in a 10MHz BW and consumes only 5.39mW from a 1.3V supply. The Figure of Merit of the modulator is 40.6fJ/conv.
