Quasi-Tamm Plasmon Polaritons in metal-dielectric-metal waveguide and its sensing application

A novel metal-dielectric-metal waveguide structure is designed, where a novel type of Tamm states called quasi-Tamm plasmon polaritons emerge and exhibit an efficient local field enhancement. Furthermore, its sensing application is analyzed.
