Research on Demagnetization Mechanism and Test Method of Ferrite Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor

In this paper, the demagnetization problem of ferrite permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) is studied. The demagnetization equivalent magnetic circuit model of motor is established. The demagnetization mechanism of the motor is analyzed. The test method of dynamic demagnetization test of motor is proposed and the test platform is built. The results show that the magnetic circuit model can effectively analyze the demagnetization of permanent magnets. The demagnetization current test of the dynamic demagnetization test platform is closer to the actual demagnetization of the motor.
