The Full Frequency-domain Transient Recorder and the Analysis System

This paper proposes a full frequency domain transient recorder and the analysis system. The system uses the new type instrument transformer based on the tunnel magnetoresistance effect (TMR), of which the frequency band is 10Hz to 5MHz. The transient recorder is researched and development. The sampling rate is up to 10MHz, and the effective frequency band is 2MHz. This system provides an effective way to identify the complex transient process in the modern power system. The potential risk of the developing fault can be forewarned and prevented, promoting the safety and stability of the power grid.
