Energy Efficiency in Forestry Machinery

In Russia in forestry, hunting and fishery industry expended about 5% of all energy using in country. The majority of this energy consumed in agricultural and forestry machinery is in the form of driving force in machinery and equipment. The purpose of the present study is to discuss the scientific problems energy efficiency in forestry technological machines. The article presents the results of a study on the effect of dynamic parameters on energy conservation process in the forestry machines. Energy saving problem is solved using the method of dynamic analysis and synthesis of technical systems. The rationale energy-efficient parameters of transitional regime are described. Dynamic models of the motor and working process are simulated using their mechanical characteristics. Power balance equation in nonlinear dynamic system is compiled and solved analytically. Non-linearity in the technical system is associated with a time delay on energy flow parameters change. Due to this fact, the equation of mechanical energy balance has two solutions. In the first one, the transient's regimes, the angular velocity are increasing exponentially. In a second one embodiment the angular velocity is changing periodically. With time delay increasing, starting time of the technological machine is also increasing. With the exponential law of angular speed increasing, the machine startup time is less than of periodic law. Therefore, the first embodiment of the start machine is preferred.
